OVER 100 YEARS COMBINED EXPERIENCE
Rita graduated from Texas Woman’s University, School of Physical Therapy in 1990 and has been employed with the Physical Therapy Center since then. Her years of experience include treating all ages of patients in the outpatient setting as well as acute care and home health. Rita is also a LSVT Big certified therapist, treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
After 28 years of employment, Rita purchased the Physical Therapy Center from Alan Trammell in 2018.
Alan Trammell, P.T.
Alan graduated from Duke University, School of Physical Therapy in 1968. He then worked in the Army Medical Specialist Corp for 6 years. With the AMSC he treated war injuries- amputees and hand injuries and was the director of army hospital clinics. In 1975 Alan opened the Physical Therapy Center in Gainesville. Since then he has also been the director of hospital clinics in Gainesville. He specializes in acute care and outpatient orthopedic and spinal rehabilitation.
Susan Metzler, P.T.
Susan graduated in 1998 from Texas Women’s University’s School of Physical Therapy. She has been an employee of the Physical Therapy Center since 2001. Susan has treated a wide variety of patients in the outpatient setting. She also has experience with acute care, home health, and inpatient rehabilitation.
